Hi, I am Lynsey, an artist from Belfast and the creator of The Bitchy Bunny Co. 

 

The Bitchy Bunny concept is much more than a painting of some crazy lady’s little characters. 

True, I drew her at first in early 2016 for a little bit of fun. Just playing, really how most things start off. 

She quickly became my favorite thing to draw. 

She represented freedom, fun, and acceptance. It didn’t matter that she wasn’t perfect. If she’s not exactly PC, works in a crappy job with no career prospects or ambition to do better. If she is a millennial, smokes a sneaky cigarette (but seriously don’t smoke,) can’t do simple maths or if The Backstreet Boys, I Want It That Way is her favorite song. She says it how it is and loves herself for her ‘faults’. 

She is about is acceptance and loving yourself. Even if you like The Backstreet Boys. She’s about having fun, laughing at yourself and loving yourself.

Here is the first ever one. She doesn’t have a name but she does have a story. She’s a cocktail waitress outside on her break, having a smoke. It’s New Year's Eve and she’s pissed off people are having fun.
